The World in My Hands

I hold the world in my hands,

It is a small world after all.

The wind at my back

As I soar through outer space,

I catch my breath and

feel the earth’s embrace.

To know no more and hear no less,

To paint with words, to paint from life.

So much beauty, amusement, and fun…

The place to be found

Is the place of big, giant ears,

I hold my breath and

Forget all my years.

Can you guess where I am?

“When I am writing, I am trying to find out who I am.”
